Consultations are by appointment and can be booked in person, over the telephone or online via the link at the top of this page.

For routine/pre booked consultations with a doctor we will endeavour to offer patients an appointment within two working days of the request. For medically urgent requests, we will offer an appointment on the same day.

For routine appointments with a nurse we will offer an appointment within five working days, where possible. Urgent request will be seen on the day of request.

If there is a delay in the appointment wait (when you arrive) of more than 20 minutes we will let you know. We are happy to update you on any delay situation if you feel that you have been waiting too long.

If you feel your medical condition is "life threatening" then you should dial 999 for emergency services. Otherwise we have a duty doctor on call for all on the day acute/emergency requests for an appointment - working with a triage nurse.

Telephone Advice

If you wish to speak to the duty doctor, please leave your name and contact telephone number the doctor will then ring you back as soon as conveniently possible.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
